About the role

The Senior Sales Manager – Leisure will lead sales activities for the travel trade segment at Grand Mercure Dubai City, driving revenue and building strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Generate and maintain travel trade customers through face‑to‑face meetings, calls and events.
  • Maintain high hotel exposure via direct sales, telephone, fax and written communications.
  • Develop prospect accounts and implement sales action plans for each.
  • Submit weekly sales activity reports to the Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Provide market feedback, track competition trends and update negotiation progress.
  • Maintain an up‑to‑date account database in the property management system.

Required profile

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum three years of similar hospitality sales experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven team leader with high energy and motivation.

Required skills

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook.
