Senior Services Officer – Business Banking (Outsource)

About the role

The Senior Services Officer – Business Banking (Outsource) will lead the ongoing due‑diligence (ODD) function for ADIB’s Business Banking portfolio. The role is responsible for overseeing risk reviews, managing the ODD team’s performance and ensuring compliance with anti‑money‑laundering and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing due‑diligence reviews for high, medium and low‑risk business banking customers.
• Manage resource planning and utilization for the ODD team.
• Supervise daily and monthly performance of supervisors, checkers and makers.
• Develop, review and update KPIs for ODD staff.
• Conduct mid‑year and annual appraisals for ODD team members.
• Ensure compliance with ODD, AML and SOPs in daily operations.
• Prepare and present progress and critical reports to senior management and the GCEO office.
• Review and update ODD‑related SOPs, policies, SLAs and memos.
• Identify risks, set controls and coordinate with Quality & Control for RCSA, KRI and control testing.
• Lead exit relationship exercises, exemption processes and coordinate with MIS, compliance and product teams.

Required profile

• Professional certification in fraud, compliance or anti‑money‑laundering.
• Strong knowledge of ADIB Business Banking products, policies and procedures.
• Good understanding of banking regulations, risk management and ongoing due‑diligence requirements.
• Experience in managing teams and performance metrics in a banking environment.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel proficiency.
• General computer skills for data analysis and reporting.
