Senior Software Engineer (Python/AI-ML)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer with strong Python and AI/ML experience to join our Data & AI Engineering team. You will work closely with Data Scientists and ML Engineers to turn AI experiments into production‑grade services that power recommendations, fraud detection, personalization and GenAI products.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and scale production‑grade Python services, APIs, event‑driven pipelines and background workers.
• Shape architecture and set technical direction for the AI/ML engineering team.
• Productionise machine‑learning models and data‑science experiments.
• Work with technologies such as Kafka, Redis, Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with Product, Data Science and Engineering teams to deliver scalable AI‑powered solutions.
• Mentor engineers, raise engineering standards and contribute to technical decision‑making.

Required profile

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in Python for building scalable backend services.
• Hands‑on experience with Redis, Kafka and relational databases.
• Proficiency with Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD workflows.
• Comfortable contributing to architecture and technical decisions.
• Product mindset and strong communication skills.
