Senior Software Engineer – RF, Embedded & AI Systems

About the role

Lead cross‑functional engineering teams in the design, integration and qualification of RF, power electronics, embedded and AI solutions for advanced industrial and defence applications. The role combines technical leadership with system‑level architecture to deliver high‑impact products.

Key responsibilities

• Guide hardware and firmware design teams, ensuring compliance with international standards such as MIL‑STD, IEEE/IEC and DO‑178C.
• Organise and chair multidisciplinary design reviews and enforce best engineering practices.
• Define system requirements and integrate RF, digital hardware, AI and embedded control into unified platforms.
• Lead simulation, testing and qualification of power electronics, RF systems and high‑speed digital hardware.
• Oversee the full firmware/software lifecycle from requirements through verification and certification.
• Design and embed AI/ML/CV/NLP solutions for real‑time analytics and intelligent decision‑making.
• Drive advanced R&D initiatives, promote Model‑Based Systems Engineering and adopt emerging technologies.
• Ensure complete, traceable technical documentation across hardware and software domains.
• Mentor junior engineers and support capability development.
• Contribute to technology road‑maps, resource planning, recruitment and budget alignment.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in technical project management or embedded electronics development within defence or aerospace, preferably missile systems.
• Proven leadership of cross‑functional engineering teams delivering complex electronic sub‑assemblies or systems.
• Strong understanding of missile/weapon system development and production.
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related field; Master’s preferred.
• PMP certification desirable.
