Senior Solutions Architect – Enterprise Cloud & AI

About the role

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to join its Commercial Sector Enterprise team in the UAE. You will act as a trusted technical advisor to senior leaders of large enterprises across financial services, retail, travel, hospitality and media, helping them design and implement cloud, data, analytics and AI solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Engage enterprise customers to understand business drivers, assess on‑premise or multi‑cloud environments and design a credible migration path to AWS.
• Develop total cost of ownership analyses, migration strategies and proof‑of‑value engagements that demonstrate tangible business outcomes.
• Build hands‑on prototypes, proofs of concept, migration runbooks, landing‑zone blueprints and production‑ready reference architectures.
• Guide customers in adopting generative AI and machine‑learning services, including Amazon Bedrock, to accelerate innovation.
• Partner with Account Managers and Business Development to shape go‑to‑market strategies and convert pipeline into adoption.
• Act as the customer’s technical advocate inside AWS, feeding field insights into product roadmaps.
• Create and share technical content such as workshops, immersion days, blog posts, code samples and public talks.
• Mentor fellow Solutions Architects, fostering knowledge sharing and team growth.

Required profile

• 10+ years of experience in technology domains such as software development, cloud computing, infrastructure, security, networking or data & analytics.
• Proven track record designing, implementing or consulting on enterprise‑scale applications and infrastructures.
• Extensive experience architecting, migrating, transforming or modernising workloads on AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non‑technical audiences, including senior executives.
