Senior Specialist Consultant – Hematologist

About the role

We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Specialist Consultant in Hematology to join leading government and premium private healthcare facilities across the UAE. The role involves providing expert care for patients with blood disorders within multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat and manage benign and malignant hematological disorders, including anemia, bleeding, clotting disorders, hemoglobinopathies and malignancies.
• Interpret laboratory investigations, blood films, bone marrow studies and other diagnostic findings.
• Develop individualized treatment plans, monitor patient responses and coordinate care with oncology, laboratory medicine and other clinical teams.
• Maintain accurate medical records, adhere to evidence‑based guidelines and ensure compliance with patient safety, infection control and clinical governance standards.

Required profile

• Postgraduate qualification in Hematology or a relevant specialty appropriate to the professional title.
• Specialist or consultant‑level clinical experience in hematology.
• Valid medical licence or professional registration and eligibility to meet UAE healthcare licensing requirements.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication and multidisciplinary teamwork skills.
