Senior Supply Chain Manager

About the role

Careem Grocery is building a fast‑moving supply‑chain infrastructure for on‑demand grocery and essentials delivery across the Middle East. As a Senior Supply Chain Manager you will own end‑to‑end demand planning, from statistical modelling to S&OP facilitation, and drive system improvements that keep the business agile.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain demand forecasting models for SKUs, categories and dark‑store locations using time‑series, regression and machine‑learning techniques.
• Develop frameworks for demand variability and scenario planning to manage seasonality, promotions, new product launches and macro‑economic signals.
• Lead the weekly and monthly S&OP cadence, aligning commercial, operations and logistics teams and driving decisions.
• Set and monitor inventory targets by SKU and location, balancing availability with holding cost and waste.
• Write and maintain SQL queries for demand signals, create actionable dashboards and explore AI/ML tooling to improve forecast accuracy.

Required profile

• Senior individual contributor comfortable with cross‑functional leadership.
• Proven ability to write SQL queries, challenge commercial forecasts and present insights to senior executives.
• Experience in end‑to‑end demand planning, statistical modelling and S&OP facilitation.
• Hands‑on mindset to build and improve data‑driven systems, not just operate them.
