Senior Technical Account Manager, Telco Vertical

About the role

Join Amazon Web Services as a Senior Technical Account Manager in the Telco vertical, helping customers across industries adopt and optimise AWS services. You will act as the principal technical advisor, driving strategic discussions, risk management and operational health for enterprise customers.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on solution design, provide technical guidance and advocate for their needs.
• Ensure AWS environments remain operationally healthy while reducing cost and complexity.
• Develop trusted relationships with senior leadership, understanding business and technical challenges.
• Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Business Developers, Professional Services and Sales teams.
• Proactively identify opportunities for added value, run workshops and brown‑bag sessions.

Required profile

• Experience designing, implementing, operating or consulting on distributed applications.
• Strong technical engineering background with cloud‑based architecture knowledge.
• Customer‑facing experience in enterprise environments, excellent oral and written communication.
• Expertise in at least three areas such as software development, CDN, scripting/automation, database architecture, IP networking, IT security, big data or operations management.
