Senior UI/UX Designer – Enterprise Applications & AI

About the role

A government entity in Abu Dhabi is looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to shape user experiences across a wide range of enterprise applications and AI‑enabled digital platforms. You will assess existing interfaces, create a unified design system and redesign key journeys for employee portals, HR, finance, procurement and workflow solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured usability and interface audits across existing enterprise applications and prioritize improvements based on business impact.
• Define and document a comprehensive enterprise design system covering colors, typography, spacing, icons, forms, data tables, dashboards and interaction states.
• Design and redesign complex user journeys for employee services, HR, finance, procurement, supply‑chain and workflow applications.
• Create high‑quality wireframes, prototypes and high‑fidelity UI designs that translate business requirements into intuitive experiences.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, developers, solution architects and technical teams to ensure designs are practical, scalable and aligned with technical constraints.
• Conduct usability testing with internal users, gather feedback and refine designs accordingly.
• Maintain design guidelines and patterns so development teams can consistently apply the approved standards.
• Support bilingual Arabic/English interfaces and ensure designs can be extended without major rework.
• Contribute to AI and digital transformation initiatives, designing experiences for AI‑enabled applications, intelligent dashboards and AI assistants.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of professional UI/UX design experience, preferably in enterprise environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating work on complex, data‑intensive and workflow‑driven applications.
• Proven experience developing and implementing design systems or enterprise UI standards.
• Ability to work effectively with business stakeholders, developers and technical teams.
• Excellent English communication, presentation and documentation skills.
• Currently based in the UAE with a transferable visa.
