Senior User Interface Designer

About the role

As a Senior User Interface Designer at 808Labs, you will design polished, intuitive interfaces for web and mobile products spanning AI, commerce, and digital infrastructure. You will work closely with product managers, engineers, and UX designers to translate requirements into wireframes, high‑fidelity mockups, and design systems that are visually consistent and user‑centered.

Key responsibilities

• Craft interaction patterns and refine visual layouts for web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with front‑end engineers to implement designs using HTML, CSS, and component‑based frameworks.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback, analytics and usability testing.
• Contribute to and maintain design guidelines and reusable UI component libraries.
• Mentor junior designers and ensure products meet accessibility and usability standards.

Required profile

• Strong UI and visual design portfolio showcasing modern digital product interfaces.
• Solid understanding of UX principles, user flows, information architecture and interaction design.
• Hands‑on experience with front‑end development (HTML, CSS, React or similar).
• Proficiency with design tools such as Figma, Sketch and Adobe XD, plus version‑control workflows.
• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
