About the role
The Fish Beach Taverna at Le Meridien Dubai is seeking an experienced Senior Waiter/Waitress to lead the front‑of‑house team. You will ensure seamless service, uphold the restaurant’s standards, and act as the primary point of contact for guests and staff.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate staff to deliver optimal guest service, including grooming and attire checks.
- Perform opening and closing duties such as setting up supplies, cleaning equipment, and securing the venue.
- Maintain storage areas using FIFO, conduct inventories, and requisition supplies as needed.
- Monitor dining room flow, seating availability, safety, and guest wellbeing throughout service.
- Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
- Enforce company safety policies, report incidents, and complete required safety certifications.
Required profile
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of related restaurant experience.
- At least 1 year of supervisory experience in a hospitality setting.
