Service Technician – Elevators & Escalators

About the role

Otis is looking for an experienced Service Technician to join its Dubai team, supporting elevator and escalator installations across the UAE. You will be responsible for ensuring safe, reliable operation of these critical transport systems through troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues on elevators and escalators.
• Perform repairs, part replacements, and routine maintenance.
• Carry out scheduled Preventive Maintenance (PPM) to guarantee optimal performance.
• Maintain accurate service records and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• ITI/Diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering or a B.Tech degree.
• 5–8 years of hands‑on experience in the elevator and escalator industry.
• Strong knowledge of elevator and escalator components and safety regulations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and problem‑solving skills.
