Site Architect - Finishes (Interior Works)

About the role

An experienced and detail-oriented Site Architect is sought to oversee the execution of interior fit-out and finishing works. The successful candidate ensures that all architectural finishes are carried out correctly, in line with approved drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor all interior finishing fit-out and architectural works on site.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals and finishing details before work begins, flagging discrepancies between design and MEP/structural works.
• Conduct regular site inspections, verify site measurements before fabrication and installation, and resolve technical and design issues.
• Coordinate mock-ups, sample approvals, material inspections and architectural interfaces with structural and MEP works.
• Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, project specifications and safety requirements.
• Take part in snagging, de-snagging, testing, commissioning and handover, and manage the project timeline while handling several projects at once.
• Keep subcontractors and contractors aligned with the programme and provide regular site progress reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture.
• At least 5 years of UAE experience in architectural finishing and interior fit-out works.
• Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, retail or high-end interior projects.
• Knowledge of UAE construction standards and architectural finishing practices.
• Membership in relevant professional bodies is an advantage.
