Site Civil Engineer – Fit Out Projects

About the role

We are looking for a Site Civil Engineer to lead interior fit‑out works on commercial and residential projects in Abu Dhabi. The role is full‑time, on‑site and involves coordinating civil activities from planning through hand‑over.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily site activities and ensure civil works follow approved drawings, specifications and UAE regulations.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants and other disciplines to maintain schedule and quality.
• Plan and sequence work, inspect structural and architectural elements such as partitions, flooring, ceilings and openings.
• Prepare and review method statements, progress reports and other site documentation.
• Monitor safety, quality and timeline performance, and resolve technical issues on‑site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in interior fit‑out or civil works within the GCC, with strong knowledge of UAE building codes.
• Ability to read and use CAD drawings and common engineering software tools.
• Experience in planning, work scheduling, resource allocation and progress tracking.
• Strong attention to detail, problem‑solving mindset and commitment to safety and quality.

Required skills

• Civil Engineering Design and drawing interpretation.
• Proficiency with CAD and other engineering software tools.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes and authority requirements.
