Site Engineer - Civil (High-Rise & Residential)

About the role

Aum Development, a real estate developer with over 25 years of experience in the Dubai market, is hiring a Site Engineer (Civil) for a high-rise and residential building construction project. The role covers supervising civil works on site, coordinating with consultants and contractors, and ensuring compliance with Dubai Municipality requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage day-to-day civil construction activities on site.
• Ensure works follow approved drawings, specifications, method statements and project requirements.
• Monitor structural, architectural, blockwork, plastering, waterproofing, finishing and other civil works.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers and site teams, and track progress against approved schedules.
• Identify site issues, technical challenges and delays and recommend practical solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality requirements and UAE regulations, and coordinate inspections, approvals and technical requirements with consultants and authorities.
• Review and interpret structural, architectural, MEP, shop and detailed drawings, and resolve design conflicts with consultants and other disciplines.
• Ensure quality standards, specifications and approved materials are met, and close NCRs, observations, snagging items and consultant comments.
• Prepare and maintain daily and weekly progress reports, and track progress against schedules.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 7 years of UAE construction experience; strong experience in G+2 or G+12 / high-rise projects is mandatory or preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Dubai Municipality requirements, UAE construction standards, site execution, structural and architectural coordination, consultant management, inspections and project documentation.
