Site / Technical Engineer - Interior Decorative Metal

About the role

A leading interiors and decorative solutions company specialising in bespoke design and execution, based in Dubai, UAE, is recruiting a Technical / Site Engineer through its recruiter Black & Grey. The role suits someone with a strong background in the interior decorative metal, glass or aluminium industry, coordinating site activities, managing installation teams and delivering projects to the required quality, budget and timeline.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the execution and installation of decorative metal and related interior works on site.
• Coordinate daily activities between site teams, production and other project stakeholders.
• Review technical drawings, specifications, calculations and project requirements.
• Work with clients, architects, consultants and engineers to resolve technical and site matters.
• Carry out regular site inspections and monitor workmanship, quality and compliance.
• Track project progress and keep works aligned with agreed schedules.
• Plan manpower, allocate responsibilities and delegate tasks to site and production teams.
• Prepare site documentation, access passes, progress reports and other records.
• Assist with project billing and resolve commercial or accounting matters.
• Guide and train installation teams on safety, quality and workmanship standards.

Required profile

• 10+ years of UAE site experience is essential.
• Proven experience in the interior decorative metal, glass or aluminium sector.
• Minimum 3-5 years in a Project Coordinator, Project Engineer or Project Manager capacity.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant equivalent.
• Valid UAE driving licence is mandatory.
• Strong technical understanding of site execution and installation, and proven ability to lead and coordinate teams.
