Social Media Specialist – Sharjah

About the role

The Social Media Specialist will support the execution of Air Arabia's social media strategy across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok and Snapchat. The role ensures consistent, engaging content that aligns with corporate objectives and brand guidelines while monitoring performance and community interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the social media content calendar, planning, creating, curating and scheduling content for diverse audiences.
• Track performance metrics (reach, engagement, follower growth, sentiment, conversion) and produce regular insight reports.
• Execute paid social campaigns in coordination with the Digital Marketing team.
• Monitor community engagement, respond to comments/messages, and escalate sensitive issues.
• Build and maintain relationships with platform representatives, influencers, content creators and agencies to amplify campaign reach.
• Stay updated on social media trends, platform updates, competitor activity and recommend new formats or tools.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in social media management, preferably in aviation or travel.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of platform policies, advertising standards and data‑privacy regulations.
