Software Engineer - E-Commerce (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Software Engineer to join a leading technology company’s e‑commerce team. This full‑time, remote position focuses on building high‑performance backend services that power real‑time user experiences for millions of customers worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services in distributed environments.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code following industry best practices.
• Profile, debug, and optimize system performance and algorithms.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions, and technical design sessions.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers to deliver features on schedule.

Required profile

• Recent graduate or early‑career professional with a strong foundation in computer science.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting while contributing to a collaborative team.
• Passion for solving complex technical challenges in high‑traffic environments.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
• Experience with distributed systems, microservices, or cloud‑native development.
• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases and performance tuning.
