Software Engineer - ElectronJS, Desktop (Remote)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain desktop applications using ElectronJS. This fully remote, full‑time position offers the chance to work with a global leader in the technology and internet sector, delivering high‑quality software that enhances user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross‑platform desktop applications with ElectronJS, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Design, implement, and optimise new features while ensuring performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with product and design teams to translate requirements into technical specifications.
• Write clean, maintainable code following industry best practices.
• Debug, test, and resolve issues reported by users or identified through automated testing.

Required profile

• Proven experience building ElectronJS applications.
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript and asynchronous, event‑driven programming.
• Familiarity with Node.js and modern front‑end frameworks such as React or Angular.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and communicate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
