About the role

As a Sommelier at Nobu within the One&Only One Za'abeel resort, you will craft exceptional wine experiences that enhance the world‑renowned dining concept. You will work closely with the restaurant team to deliver personalized service, recommend perfect pairings, and uphold the highest standards of luxury hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Recommend wine pairings that complement each menu item and guest preferences.
• Maintain and expand the wine list, ensuring a diverse selection of regions, varietals, and vintages.
• Manage wine inventory, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with suppliers.
• Provide expert wine education to guests and staff, fostering a deeper appreciation of the wine program.
• Collaborate with chefs and service staff to create seamless dining experiences.

Required profile

• Passion for wines with strong knowledge of wine regions, varietals, vintages, and pairing techniques.
• Previous experience as a Sommelier or in a luxury food & beverage environment.
• Professional, personable demeanor with confidence to engage guests.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑energy setting.
• Wine certification (e.g., WSET, CMS) is preferred.
