Sonographer - HealthHub Discovery Gardens

About the role

HealthHub Discovery Gardens, part of Al-Futtaim Health, is looking for an experienced, patient-focused Sonographer to join its multidisciplinary team. You will perform high-quality ultrasound examinations, ensure excellent patient care and support physicians with accurate diagnostic imaging. The clinic is a multispecialty primary care and diagnostic centre open seven days a week, serving a multicultural community.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations in line with DHA regulations and professional standards.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images while keeping patients comfortable and dignified.
• Review patient history and explain procedures clearly to patients.
• Support physicians and specialists with accurate imaging and preliminary findings.
• Ensure compliance with infection control, patient safety and quality assurance standards.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report operational issues.
• Document examinations accurately in the electronic medical record system.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Medical Imaging, Radiography, Sonography or a related field.
• DHA license or DHA eligibility as a Sonographer.
• Minimum 2 years of post-qualification ultrasound experience.
• Experience performing general ultrasound examinations independently.
• Fluent English; Arabic and Tagalog are an advantage.
• Preferred: experience in abdominal, pelvic, obstetric, gynaecological, vascular, small parts and musculoskeletal ultrasound, and in an outpatient or primary care setting.
