Specialist – Business Planning

About the role

The Specialist – Business Planning will lead the development and coordination of the asset’s five‑year business plan, ensuring it aligns with ADNOC’s corporate mission and vision. The role focuses on integrating short‑, medium‑ and long‑term work programmes across multiple stakeholders and supporting the annual budgeting process.

Key responsibilities

• Drive and coordinate the creation of the asset’s five‑year business plan, including resource allocation, production forecasts and operating margin targets.
• Facilitate integrated asset meetings and communication forums to align stakeholder work programmes.
• Lead the annual budget cycle, securing CAPEX and OPEX funding for planned activities.
• Conduct business and economic evaluations for short‑ and long‑term projects, developing scenarios to support optimal decision‑making.
• Prepare and obtain investment committee approvals for major projects in line with the Investment Governance Framework.
• Review self‑audit findings and integrate corrective action plans into the asset’s work programme.

Required profile

• Experience in business planning and financial modelling within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse economic data and develop investment scenarios.
• Proficiency in coordinating cross‑functional teams and managing complex project timelines.
