Specialist Critical Care Physician

About the role

A leading healthcare facility in the UAE is seeking an experienced Specialist Critical Care Physician to provide specialized care to critically ill patients, manage complex medical conditions and support optimal outcomes in the intensive care unit (ICU).

Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with life-threatening conditions.
• Manage respiratory failure, sepsis, shock and multi-organ dysfunction.
• Monitor patients requiring mechanical ventilation and advanced hemodynamic support.
• Perform emergency stabilization and resuscitation when required.
• Coordinate with intensivists, surgeons, anesthesiologists and other specialists.
• Maintain accurate medical records and uphold high standards of patient safety and care.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
• Postgraduate qualification in Critical Care Medicine, Intensive Care Medicine or an equivalent specialty.
• Minimum 3 years of post-specialization experience preferred.
• Experience in ICU management, ventilator support and emergency critical care.
