Specialist - IT Governance, Risk and Compliance

About the role

Join ADCB as a Specialist in IT Governance, Risk and Compliance, contributing to the bank’s digital evolution while working within a diverse and inclusive community.

Key responsibilities

• Review, iterate, build and maintain functional and technical documents, communications or policies using agreed toolsets and frameworks.
• Organise critical meetings, stakeholder workshops and issue‑resolution sessions to ensure queries are resolved successfully.
• Support mini‑projects and initiatives as agreed with the squad/team lead.
• Maintain, produce and improve reporting artefacts across Jira, Excel, Planview and ADCB systems.
• Identify improvements and develop new processes for continuous improvement.
• Implement approved departmental policies, processes and procedures and ensure employee adherence.
• Manage and motivate the team to contribute to change initiatives, programmes and projects in line with the Bank’s standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in an IT department, including at least 1 year of people‑management experience.
• Ability to inspect work of others and maintain established quality‑control standards.
• Experience training others in proper and safe work procedures.
• Hands‑on experience with installation, maintenance and repair of IT and telecommunication systems.
• Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network hardware, communications equipment, operating systems and PC peripherals.
