Specialist – Market Intelligence & Economics

About the role

The Specialist in Market Intelligence & Economics will apply analytical and quantitative methods to deepen ADNOC’s understanding of its supplier market. Working within defined Market Intelligence processes, the role supports the Commercial Division by delivering data‑driven insights that shape pricing, sourcing and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and consolidate data from external market vendors and internal commercial systems (MAXIMO, e‑Registration, Commercial Directory Data Sharing).
• Validate, align and cleanse data to produce accurate market intelligence reports.
• Prepare periodic reports on market trends, supplier monographs, cost structures and category forecasts.
• Conduct cost‑structure analysis, should‑cost studies and price forecasting to support tender negotiations.
• Develop pricing benchmarks and provide recommendations for category and tender strategies.
• Maintain a unified supplier database and coordinate with registration and pre‑qualification teams.
• Execute primary and custom research on technology innovations in collaboration with technology and innovation departments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management, Economics or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in market intelligence, economics, or commercial analysis.
• Proven ability to work closely with subject‑matter experts and external data providers.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in cost analysis and forecasting.
