Specialist Neonatologist (Arabic Speaker) – Abu Dhabi

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Neonatologist who is fluent in Arabic and English to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi. The role involves delivering exceptional neonatal care in a state‑of‑the‑art facility alongside a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive care for newborn infants, including premature and critically ill neonates.
• Diagnose and manage neonatal medical conditions, congenital disorders, respiratory distress, infections, and emergencies.
• Deliver care in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and newborn nursery, performing resuscitation and stabilization of high‑risk newborns.
• Collaborate with obstetricians, pediatricians, nurses, and allied health professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
• Counsel and educate parents regarding neonatal conditions, treatment plans, and follow‑up care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with hospital policies and international standards.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, and continuing medical education.

Required profile

• MBBS or equivalent medical qualification with specialist training in Neonatology/Pediatrics.
• Valid DOH license or eligibility to obtain one.
• Minimum 3–5 years post‑specialization experience in Neonatology, preferably in a NICU setting.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient‑centered care skills.
