Specialist Physician – Radiology

About the role

The Specialist Physician – Radiology provides high‑quality, evidence‑based, patient‑centred care within SEHA Clinics. Working under the supervision of a Consultant Physician, the role combines clinical excellence with the mentorship of junior medical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose and treat patients according to best‑practice radiology standards.
• Lead ward rounds, reassess in‑patients and out‑patients, and document clinical information promptly.
• Supervise junior medical staff and share responsibility for their patient care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and coordinate with other specialties and support services.
• Ensure appropriate utilization of resources, obtain informed consent, and manage referrals from emergency, primary care, and other departments.
• Provide out‑of‑hours on‑call coverage on a rotational basis.
• Support departmental initiatives, performance management, and incident reporting.

Required profile

• Qualified medical doctor with a specialization in radiology.
• Demonstrated commitment to clinical excellence and patient safety.
• Ability to supervise and train junior staff.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
