Specialist Physiotherapist – Government Hospitals (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

The Specialist Physiotherapist provides comprehensive assessment, treatment, rehabilitation, and follow‑up care to patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, pediatric, orthopedic, sports‑related and other physical conditions in government hospitals.

Key responsibilities

• Develop individualized rehabilitation programs based on evidence‑based physiotherapy interventions.
• Deliver treatment and monitor patient progress across a range of clinical specialties.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, occupational therapists, speech therapists, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure functional outcomes and quality of life are optimised through multidisciplinary teamwork.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy/Physical Therapy from a recognised institution.
• Current professional registration with the relevant UAE health authority.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (may be required per facility policy).
