Specialist Project Management – PMO Integration & Engineering

About the role

EDGE is seeking a Specialist – PMO with a strong engineering background to bridge strategic project governance and hands‑on technical execution. The role works closely with Project Managers and senior leadership to unblock technical bottlenecks, ensure compliance with PMO standards, and drive delivery of high‑impact defence projects.

Key responsibilities

• Execute technical and administrative tasks such as feasibility analyses, technical documentation, change‑order reviews and risk‑register updates.
• Review engineering designs, feasibility studies and specifications to guarantee alignment with organisational goals and international compliance.
• Allocate engineering talent, equipment and capital across competing projects to eliminate bottlenecks.
• Coordinate between Project Managers, engineering disciplines and external contractors to streamline communication and accelerate problem‑solving.
• Monitor and report progress of action items using PMO tools, ensuring transparency on task status, resource constraints and potential blockers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace, Electrical, Mechanical, Systems or Software Engineering.
• 6+ years experience in the defence industry and 5+ years in a PMO role.
• Strong knowledge of system installation in aircraft and proven supplier relationship management.
