Specialist Radiologist – Women’s Health Imaging

About the role

The Specialist Radiologist will provide comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic imaging services, focusing on women’s health, including gynecological and obstetric imaging. The role collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high‑quality patient care and supports departmental improvement and research initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed patient histories and examinations, ensuring compassionate and efficient care.
• Investigate, evaluate, and diagnose conditions using advanced imaging modalities with a focus on women’s imaging.
• Perform and interpret imaging studies related to gynaecology, obstetrics, and general radiology.
• Maintain compliance with SKMCA’s medical bylaws, policies, and procedures.
• Support the Head of Department in ensuring adequate medical coverage within the department.
• Participate in teaching, mentoring junior staff, and departmental audits.
• Engage in performance and quality improvement initiatives and clinical research projects.
• Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain patient confidentiality.

Required profile

• MBBS and a Master’s Degree or equivalent in Radiology.
• Valid UAE medical license or eligibility.
• Minimum 5 years post‑qualification experience in Radiology, with expertise in gynaecological imaging.
