Speech Language Therapist (UAE national only)

About the role

The role involves providing specialist evaluation and treatment to patients of all ages with speech, language, cognitive‑communicative, voice and swallowing disorders across rehabilitation centre facilities and outpatient settings. You will work autonomously with a mixed caseload, collaborating closely with physicians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, dietitians and other interdisciplinary team members.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop clinically reasoned treatment plans for complex and chronic cases.
• Assess home and work environments and recommend necessary adjustments.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver integrated care.
• Support professional development of the team and contribute to audit and research projects.
• Maintain accurate assessment and treatment records and communicate results to relevant disciplines.
• Review patient progress at each session and modify treatment programs as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Speech and Language Therapy.
• Minimum 2 years post‑graduate experience in varied clinical settings.
• At least 2 additional years in pediatric outpatient and adult inpatient roles, preferably handling highly complex cases.
• Post‑qualifying certificates such as Dysphagia Management, AAC Assessments, or Advanced Linguistics.
• Valid DOH licence or eligibility and UAE nationality (passport and family book).
