Sports & Performance Medicine Physician

About the role

Joint Space Polyclinic is seeking a Sports & Performance Medicine Physician to join its multidisciplinary team in Alserkal Avenue, Dubai. The role focuses on delivering integrated, patient‑centred care for active and athletic populations.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct musculoskeletal assessments and manage non‑surgical injuries, including diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound.
• Provide regenerative and image‑guided injectables such as PRP, orthobiologics, and joint/soft‑tissue therapies where clinically permissible.
• Develop individualized care plans that incorporate load management, recovery protocols, nutrition, and lifestyle interventions.
• Collaborate with physiotherapists, osteopaths, chiropractors, and movement coaches to ensure a seamless patient journey.
• Contribute to workshops, education sessions, and community events.

Required profile

• DHA‑licensed or DHA‑eligible physician specialised in sports or sports‑and‑exercise medicine, authorised to practice in Dubai.
• Proven experience working with recreational to elite athletes.
• Functional, root‑cause oriented approach aligned with the clinic’s philosophy.

Required skills

• Musculoskeletal ultrasound competency.
• Experience with regenerative injectables (PRP, orthobiologics).
• Knowledge of peptide therapy and performance‑oriented therapeutics.
• Understanding of load, adaptation, recovery, nutrition and lifestyle integration.
