Sr. Team Lead / Team Lead - Application Infrastructure

About the role

RAK Medical & Health Sciences University is looking for an experienced leader to oversee the end-to-end deployment, maintenance and optimisation of application infrastructure systems, ensuring the high availability, performance and security of enterprise applications. The position is based in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE, and is open to Emirati nationals.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse business requirements from stakeholders and turn them into detailed technical documentation.
• Evaluate the feasibility of system enhancements and changes.
• Develop use cases and workflows, run manual and automated testing, and track and document software defects.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for system operations and support.
• Create training manuals and instructional videos, deliver end-user training and provide ongoing technical support.
• Ensure secure and scalable software deployment, manage configuration and enterprise system integration, and monitor performance.
• Lead cross-functional teams of developers and engineers and mentor team members.

Required profile

• B.E., B.Tech or B.Sc. in Computer Science (Master's preferred).
• 10+ years in software implementation, testing, requirement gathering and team leadership; educational-institution experience preferred.
• Proven experience deploying Student Information Systems (Ellucian Banner) and LMS platforms.
• Fluent English, valid passport, under 40 years old, available to join by September 2025.

Required skills

• Oracle / SQL databases and enterprise application integration.
• SDLC methodologies and software testing frameworks.
• Agile methods (Scrum, Kanban) and version control tools (Git, Jira).
