Staff Nurse – Oncology (TP)

About the role

The Staff Nurse – Oncology (TP) provides direct, age‑specific patient care across paediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric populations in a multidisciplinary oncology setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop and revise individualized care plans, and coordinate critical care pathways.
• Administer chemotherapy, biologic agents, blood products, and manage venous access devices, including peripheral and central lines.
• Assist physicians with procedures such as lumbar puncture, bone marrow aspirate/biopsy, thoracentesis, and chest tube insertion.
• Document all patient data in accordance with hospital standards and ensure compliance with Joint Commission International Accreditation requirements.
• Participate in unit meetings, quality improvement activities, and maintain mandatory education and competency certifications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (minimum 3‑year program) or equivalent degree with registration as a Registered Nurse in Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia.
• Valid nursing license/registration in the home country or last place of employment.
• Minimum two years recent post‑graduate experience in oncology nursing.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Required skills
