Staff Nurse – OPD Procedure – HSCT Infusion

About the role

The Staff Nurse will coordinate nursing care for out‑patient department (OPD) procedures, including hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) infusion. The role involves direct patient care, education, and seamless transitions across the care continuum while upholding SSMC’s mission, vision, and values.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse comprehensive assessment data (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, spiritual) to determine patient diagnoses and issues.
• Develop culturally appropriate, evidence‑based individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the multidisciplinary team.
• Implement care plans, perform OPD procedures and HSCT infusions according to established protocols, and administer medications safely.
• Document all assessments, interventions, and outcomes using standardized terminology and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
• Communicate relevant information across all levels of care and coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
• Familiarity with the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and UAE.
• Ability to provide age‑appropriate patient care within the Nursing Scope of Practice.
