Staff Nurse – OPD Surgical / PAC Clinic

About the role

The Staff Nurse in the OPD Surgical – PAC Clinic is responsible for coordinating comprehensive nursing care, delivering direct patient care, and providing education to patients and families. The role supports professional nursing practice across the care continuum while upholding SSMC's mission, vision, and values.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyse assessment data (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, spiritual) to identify patient diagnoses and issues.
• Develop and document individualized care plans with measurable outcomes, involving patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Implement evidence‑based interventions, perform treatments and procedures, and administer medications according to organizational policies.
• Ensure accurate documentation of all care plan components and modifications in the patient’s health record.
• Communicate relevant information across all levels of care and coordinate resources efficiently.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse licensed to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
• Experience in OPD surgical settings and PAC clinics.
• Knowledge of the Nursing Scope of Practice, Professional Nurses Code of Conduct, and relevant regulatory standards.
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence‑based practices.
