Staff Nurse – Tower B6 (Medical Wing)

About the role

The Staff Nurse in Tower B6 of the Medical Wing is responsible for coordinating nursing care, delivering direct patient care, and providing education to patients and families. The role supports professional nursing practice across the continuum of care while upholding SSMC’s mission, vision, and values.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze comprehensive assessment data (physical, psychosocial, emotional, cognitive, spiritual) to determine patient diagnoses and issues.
• Develop culturally appropriate, individualized care plans in collaboration with patients, families, and the healthcare team.
• Implement evidence‑based interventions, perform treatments and procedures, and administer medications according to policies.
• Document all care activities, outcomes, and plan modifications using standardized terminology.
• Communicate relevant information across all levels of care and ensure continuity of care.
• Adhere to the Professional Nurses Code of Conduct for Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in Abu Dhabi/UAE.
• Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and ethical standards.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
