About the role

Kraken is seeking a world‑class Staff Product Designer to shape the future of its consumer crypto platform. This high‑impact individual contributor will own the design direction of complex, high‑priority areas within the flagship Kraken app used by millions worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Set and elevate the design vision across key product areas, defining standards of excellence.
• Lead design for ambiguous, complex problem spaces, delivering clear, elegant, and scalable user experiences.
• Shape and evolve Kraken’s design system and visual language for consistency and scalability.
• Partner closely with product, engineering, and leadership to influence strategy and roadmap.
• Drive alignment across cross‑functional teams and mentor junior designers.
• Champion high‑quality craft and user experience, using customer insights, data, and experimentation to improve outcomes.

Required profile

• Proven track record as a senior product designer delivering high‑impact solutions.
• Strong visual and interaction design sensibility with a focus on user‑centered outcomes.
• Ability to thrive in a fast‑moving, ambiguous environment and influence product decisions.
• Experience mentoring and raising the quality of design teams.
