Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper is responsible for receiving, staging, and distributing merchandise throughout the hotel, ensuring inventory accuracy, food safety, and a clean working environment.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and stage merchandise by department, mark for placement, and deliver to the appropriate area.
• Stack received items on pallets or carts and complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Monitor stock levels, notify supervisors of low inventory, and rotate perishable goods.
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, cleanliness, consistency, and quality; reject damaged or incorrect items.
• Maintain food safety standards, organize and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment, and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard, and trash, placing them in proper storage areas.
• Report accidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.
• Follow company policies, maintain professional appearance, and protect confidential information.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.
