Structural Designer

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Structural Designer to develop and prepare structural designs, drawings, and technical documentation, ensuring compliance with standards and project requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare structural drawings, layouts, details, sections and design documentation based on engineering requirements.
• Develop and modify structural designs in line with project specifications and approved concepts.
• Review architectural and engineering drawings to ensure proper coordination across disciplines.
• Produce accurate drawings for foundations, columns, beams, slabs and other structural elements.
• Interpret structural calculations, sketches, specifications and engineering instructions.
• Revise drawings to incorporate design changes, technical comments and project requirements.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, architects, consultants, contractors and other project teams.
• Check drawings for accuracy, completeness, dimensions, levels and consistency before submission.

Required profile

• Degree, diploma or relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or related field.
• Strong understanding of structural drafting and basic engineering principles.
• Ability to read and interpret structural drawings, specifications, calculations and technical documents.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant structural design or drafting software.
• Good attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Effective communication and coordination abilities, able to work independently and within teams.
