Summer Internship Program - Quantitative Trading, Abu Dhabi

About the role

Brevan Howard builds systematic and discretionary investment processes based on rigorous analysis of a wide range of data, including asset prices, macroeconomic indicators, news, sell-side research and trading signals. Its Summer Internship Program in Abu Dhabi is aimed at students who want to apply quantitative and machine learning skills to real-world problems in a fast-paced environment with immediate feedback. The internship lasts one week of in-depth training followed by desk work, and top performers are considered for the 2028 Graduate Program.

Key responsibilities

• Build pipelines to extract and analyze data, develop models and trading signals, and support the decision-making of Portfolio Managers.
• Integrate AI into analytical systems and build new AI-powered tools using the latest LLMs and agent workflows.
• Contribute to the core analytics library used by Quants and Portfolio Managers for research, trading and risk management.

Required profile

• Penultimate-year undergraduate, junior or 1st-year master's or PhD student at a recognized university, with studies completed and awarded before July 2028.
• Strong mathematical, quantitative and problem-solving abilities, and technical skills.
• Interest in financial markets, trading and financial products.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong written and verbal English.
