Supervisor, Rigging

About the role

The Supervisor, Rigging will lead all rigging and lifting activities on site, ensuring compliance with ADNOC safety regulations and international standards. This role requires close coordination with engineers, project managers and HSE teams to deliver safe and efficient lifting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate rigging and lifting activities, ensuring adherence to ADNOC safety regulations.
• Select, inspect and certify rigging equipment such as slings, shackles, chains and hoists.
• Conduct risk assessments, develop lifting plans and verify load calculations and crane capacities.
• Maintain documentation of rigging operations, equipment certifications and daily progress reports.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety briefings and ensure compliance with the ADNOC Permit to Work system.

Required profile

• 5-10 years of experience as a Rigging Supervisor in the Oil & Gas industry, preferably on ADNOC projects.
• Strong organizational, multitasking and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and pressure on ADNOC sites.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• Lifting Supervisor Certificate approved by ADNOC or a recognized third party.
• TUV/LEEA Certified Rigger Level‑3 or Level‑4.
• OPITO/TUV/ADNOC‑approved Rigging & Lifting training.
• Proficiency in load calculations and equipment certification procedures.
