Supply Chain and Operations Manager

About the role

Generation H, a fast-growing UAE e-commerce platform focused on healthy eating, is looking for a Supply Chain and Operations Manager. The role owns the complete product journey, from the supplier's warehouse to the customer's doorstep, keeping best-sellers in stock, shelves fresh and every unit, invoice and shipment accounted for. It works closely with the founder, marketing and sales.

Key responsibilities

• Plan inventory by segmenting SKUs into fast, medium and slow movers, setting min/max/reorder points and forecasting demand; keep stock lean and monitor days of cover and turnover
• Maintain a live expiry register, apply FEFO, confirm shelf life with suppliers and flag near-expiry stock with marketing
• Plan purchasing cycles, run three-way matching of purchase orders, goods received and invoices, and keep procurement records accurate
• Manage international shipments end to end, compare freight forwarders and shipping modes, and ensure compliance with UAE food import, labelling and registration requirements
• Oversee stock at the 3PL fulfilment partner and secondary storage, run cycle counts and reconcile variances
• Build long-term relationships with brand partners and distributors, negotiate pricing, payment terms and MOQs, and manage wholesale (B2B) accounts
• Benchmark pricing, recommend new brands and products, and deliver regular sales, inventory and expiry reports to leadership

Required profile

• 5+ years in supply chain, inventory or operations, ideally in FMCG, food & beverage, grocery or e-commerce
• Proven experience importing into the UAE, including freight forwarders, customs brokers and food import regulations
• Experience managing inventory through a 3PL with shelf-life-sensitive products and exposure to wholesale and supplier negotiations
• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field; CIPS or APICS (CPIM/CSCP) is a plus
• Nice to have: experience in health, organic or specialty food, and familiarity with Dubai Municipality food registration and labelling

Required skills

• Advanced Excel / Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookups, forecasting)
• Comfortable with Shopify or similar e-commerce platforms and inventory or ERP systems
• Basic bookkeeping, landed cost and margin calculation
• Strong English; Arabic is a plus
