Supply Chain Localization Leader

About the role

We are looking for a Supply Chain Localization Leader to drive the UAE Unified ICV Program v4.0 within Baker Hughes’ Oilfield Services business. The role will shape and implement a comprehensive localization strategy that shifts spend from imports to UAE‑based, ICV‑certified suppliers, enhancing operational efficiency and local value creation.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a supply‑chain localization strategy for the UAE, focusing on goods manufactured and third‑party spend.
• Analyse current spend, map high‑cost categories to UAE‑made alternatives and redesign sourcing processes.
• Partner with local suppliers, support their ICV certification, and lead supplier‑development workshops.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (business segments, geo‑zones, supply chain) to align localization initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with MoIAT and ADNOC ICV frameworks and support internal/external ICV audits.
• Identify and lead facility cost‑optimization projects across the UAE.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Procurement or Business.
• Minimum five years of experience in a supply‑chain function, preferably in oil and gas.
• Strong knowledge of MoIAT and ADNOC ICV regulations.
• Proven ability to manage cross‑functional projects and drive measurable results.
