Supply Chain Operations Manager

About the role

SimiHaze Beauty is looking for a Supply Chain & Operations Manager to own end‑to‑end order‑to‑cash processes and inventory management across its international markets. The role will oversee third‑party logistics (3PL) warehouses in Italy and the USA, ensuring smooth cross‑border coordination and data‑driven optimisation.

Key responsibilities

• Manage order processing and sales invoice posting in Microsoft Dynamics 365, guaranteeing accuracy and timeliness.
• Apply correct Italian tax codes and VAT treatment for intra‑EU and extra‑EU transactions in coordination with Finance.
• Coordinate daily operations with 3PL partners in Italy and the USA, covering inbound/outbound shipments, stock transfers and SLA compliance.
• Lead demand planning and forecasting to align inventory with sales projections and seasonal trends.
• Conduct regular stock analysis (aging, slow‑moving, stockouts, excess) and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify and implement AI‑driven tools for demand forecasting, inventory replenishment and operational efficiency.
• Liaise with freight forwarders and customs teams on import documentation, Incoterms and duty/VAT treatment.
• Monitor order‑to‑delivery cycle times, resolve bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement across procurement, warehousing and logistics.
• Partner with Finance to reconcile inventory, sales invoices and 3PL billing within Dynamics 365.
• Prepare periodic reports on stock levels, order fulfillment and supply‑chain KPIs for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business or a related field.
• 5–8 years of supply‑chain/operations management experience, with exposure to Italian/EU and US markets.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (order management, sales invoicing, inventory).
• Proven track record managing international 3PL relationships.
• Working knowledge of Italian accounting, VAT codes and import/customs documentation.
• Strong analytical abilities in demand planning, inventory analysis and forecasting.
• Familiarity with AI/automation tools applied to supply‑chain optimisation.
• Excellent cross‑cultural communication; Italian language proficiency is a plus.
