Supply Chain Planner – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Supply Chain Planner to ensure uninterrupted product availability in a GMP‑regulated pharmaceutical environment. You will work closely with Manufacturing, Procurement, Quality, Warehouse and Commercial teams to translate demand forecasts into actionable production and material plans.

Key responsibilities

• Develop rolling production and supply plans based on demand forecasts, confirmed orders, inventory levels and manufacturing capacity.
• Execute MRP planning for raw materials, packaging materials and semi‑finished goods.
• Monitor material availability and proactively resolve supply constraints, shortages and capacity risks.
• Coordinate production schedules with Manufacturing, Quality, Procurement and Warehouse teams.
• Optimise inventory levels while controlling ageing, slow‑moving, near‑expiry and excess stock.
• Manage sales orders, back‑orders and order fulfilment through SAP/ERP.
• Track OTIF delivery, forecast accuracy, inventory value, months of coverage and other supply‑chain KPIs.
• Prepare monthly planning, inventory and supply‑risk reports for management review.
• Ensure compliance with EHS, import/export and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, Pharmacy, Business Administration or a related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in supply planning, production planning or demand planning, preferably in pharmaceutical, FMCG, chemical or other regulated manufacturing.
• Strong analytical, communication and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
