Supply Chain Quality Management Manager

About the role

The Supply Chain Quality Management Manager will own supplier quality performance for mechanical commodities such as investment casting, CNC machining and sheet‑metal fabrication, and support other groups like electronics. The role ensures every new part and process change meets aerospace standards before entering the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and drive supplier quality scorecards (DPPM, SCAR closure, audit results) and lead AS9100D and Nadcap audits.
• Own the end‑to‑end SCAR process, including 8D root‑cause analysis, verification and closure.
• Support First Article Inspection (FAI) governance per AS9102, approve FAI packages and coordinate non‑conformance disposition.
• Run quarterly business reviews with commodity managers, develop Supplier Improvement Plans and recommend Preferred Supplier List changes.
• Lead and mentor Supply Quality Specialists and report KPIs to the Head of SCM & Procurement.

Required profile

• 10+ years of supplier/supply‑chain quality experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing.
• Proven track record with AS9100D, AS9102 and Nadcap requirements.
• People‑management experience and ability to lead cross‑functional teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Quality Engineering; CQE or CQA certification is a plus.
