Supply Operator – Terminal/Depot Operations

About the role

The Supply Operator ensures safe and efficient operation of terminal and depot facilities by conducting regular inspections, overseeing loading and off‑loading activities, and supporting supervisors in product handling, storage, and quality assurance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily walk‑around inspections of instruments, gauges, meters and report any hazards or equipment malfunctions.
• Prepare tanks, pipelines and fittings for loading/receiving operations and operate valves and equipment as directed.
• Oversee and execute loading of road tankers, bulk loads and drum filling, ensuring proper sealing and handling of loading arms.
• Carry out off‑loading operations while strictly following HSSE procedures.
• Conduct product draining, sampling, physical dip and maintain clean sampling equipment and housekeeping standards.
• Measure temperature and density of Jet‑A1 fuel at regular intervals for quality assurance.
• Perform visual quality checks of fuel samples and report findings.
• Assist supervisors with refractor meter, Millipore tests and reconciliation recordings.
• Monitor additive (FSII, CI) and dye injection systems, coordinating with third‑party vendors when needed.
• Prepare checklists and data sheets for supervisor review and comply with all HSE policies.

Required profile

• Ability to conduct thorough inspections and report safety concerns.
• Capability to follow detailed operating procedures and instructions from supervisors.
• Attention to detail for sampling, measurement and documentation tasks.
• Willingness to work in a depot environment and adhere to HSSE standards.

Required skills
