System Integration & Test Engineer

About the role

L3 Harris is seeking a System Integration & Test Engineer to drive integration and verification activities for a C4I system upgrade in the United Arab Emirates. Reporting to the Chief Systems Engineer, you will manage continuous integration of hardware and software components and ensure subcontractor deliveries meet system requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate software modules, hardware components, and external interfaces into a cohesive end‑to‑end system.
• Develop and document integration plans, configuration baselines, and test strategies for functional, performance, regression, and acceptance testing.
• Execute verification and validation activities for subcontractor‑provided components within tight timelines.
• Maintain and evolve end‑to‑end test scenarios, document defects, analyse root causes, and coordinate remediation with engineering teams and subcontractors.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least 2 years of relevant experience, or Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years.
• Demonstrated understanding of system architecture principles and experience executing system tests and managing configurations.
• Proactive approach to verification and defect resolution, especially in C4I environments.
