Systems Administrator – Arabic Speaker (Abu Dhabi)

About the role

We are seeking a Systems Administrator to join the technical operations team in Abu Dhabi, supporting the day‑to‑day administration and operation of servers, applications, platforms, hardware and software within a data‑center environment. The role is suited to a hands‑on professional with solid Linux/Windows, networking, monitoring, scripting and basic SQL experience, providing Level 1/Level 2 technical support.

Key responsibilities

• Administer and support servers, applications, system platforms, hardware and software as part of daily IT operations.
• Monitor system availability, performance, logs and alerts, and respond to incidents promptly.
• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for system and application issues.
• Support backup operations and basic disaster‑recovery activities.
• Assist with system updates, patching and scheduled maintenance.
• Execute basic scripts and tools to automate repetitive operational tasks.
• Perform simple SQL/database queries for data validation, reporting and troubleshooting.
• Follow established incident, problem and change management procedures.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, scripts and operational procedures.
• Collaborate with senior administrators, developers and technical support teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related field.
• 1–4 years of experience in system administration, IT support or a related technical role.
• Hands‑on data‑center experience.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and/or Windows Server environments.
• Understanding of system administration fundamentals, services, users and permissions.
• Basic networking knowledge covering IP addressing, DNS, ports and firewalls.
• Familiarity with system monitoring, logging, backup and disaster‑recovery concepts.
• Basic scripting/development knowledge (PowerShell, Bash or Python).
• Basic SQL knowledge for querying and data validation.
• Ability to read, understand and modify existing scripts or code.
• Arabic‑speaking capability.
• Willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi and on shift‑based operations.
